Amara and Alannah are a married couple who decide to start a family after attending a children's party. Their attempt to conceive involves various fertility methods, ranging from donor applications to assistance from their friends, David and Tom. The couple navigates the emotional challenges of negative pregnancy tests and the awkwardness of home insemination with the support of Alannah's mother and their own strong relationship.
