The Bridge

The Bridge is a short film about a young woman who discovers a surreal realm after following the sound of a ringing phone in a forest. In this world, inspiration exists but is unable to take form. The story serves as a reflection on the creative process and the connection between reality and fantasy.

This Austrian production was directed by Ameya Ajay, who also stars as the young woman. It is the third film in a series of works released by the director in 2026, following The Real You and Negative Space, and preceding Silver City and Nature of the Soul. The film has a total runtime of seven minutes.
