The Ghost of Banana Tree

The Ghost of Banana Tree is a Cambodian horror film centered on a woman whose devotion to her husband persists after her death. Having passed away while waiting for his return, her affection evolves into a menacing obsession that traps the man in a haunting cycle from which he cannot escape.

Directed by Bun Chantra, this production followed Her Deadly Eyes (2025) and preceded My Death Wife (2026) in the filmmaker's chronology. The screenplay was written by Mao Samnang, and the project was produced by Heng Tola and Heng Sreypich. The film was a collaborative effort between production companies Campro Productions, Jaikon Entertainment Co., LTD, and Westec Media Limited. It premiered on April 14, 2026, with a total runtime of 99 minutes.
