Eterna Alèxia

Eterna Alèxia is a documentary about the farewell of the Barcelona women's team captain, marking the end of a career that reshaped the landscape of women's football. The film centres on the emotional day when the club and its supporters pay tribute to her, honouring a player whose time at Barça extended far beyond the pitch.

Released on 27 May 2026, the 70-minute film comes from a period in which Alexia Putellas was already established as one of the defining figures of the women's game. She appears as herself, alongside presenter Marta Torné and former coach Xavi Llorens. The cast also includes club official Rafael Yuste, team-mate Vicky López and former Barça player Hristo Stoichkov, whose presence links the club's men's history with its women's present.
