The Male Gaze: Courage Under Fire

The Male Gaze: Courage Under Fire examines the nature of bravery through the experiences of various men and boys. The film focuses on individuals who act on instinct to face authority, risk social isolation, or gamble with the exposure of hidden secrets. Through these stories, the film explores the idea that courage can be an innate trait rather than a learned behavior.

The production was a collaborative effort directed by Jérémy Giroux, Manel F. Gonda, Arthur Cahn, Romain Roellet, and Paul Vincent de Lestrade. For Giroux, Gonda, and Cahn, this project followed their work on Boys on Film 24: Happy Endings in 2024 and Rives in 2025. For de Lestrade, this film followed A Good Boy released in 2024. The movie has a total runtime of 101 minutes and was released on June 27, 2026.
