What's left behind the scenes

  • Jamie Foxx could have played one of the roles.
  • The project was initially titled "Game".
  • Logan Lerman's character wears a t-shirt with the "Crank" logo. This is a reference to the film "Crank" (2006), a previous work by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
  • The filming used a "Red One" digital camera; this was the second film shot with it. The first was Steven Soderbergh's "Che: Part One" (2008).
  • The directors had the idea to film in 3D, but since many films were trying to be made in three dimensions at that time, and there were few cinemas equipped to provide a 3D image, the film could have been released no earlier than the summer of 2010. The creators of the film could not wait that long.
  • During one of the battles, you can notice a man in a business suit with a briefcase in his hand. He walks through the thick of the fighting, disregarding the explosions and bullets. This is a reference to the character G-Man from the cult Half-Life game series.
