When Adrian, played by Santiago Douglas, drives Michelle Rodriguez's character home, a camera mounted on the roof of the car can be seen.
Preparing for the role of Diana, Michelle Rodriguez trained for two months, while the filming period itself lasted only 30 days. Over 300 candidates applied for the role, but Rodriguez was chosen, marking her cinematic debut.
Shortly before filming began, it emerged that the sponsors had backed out. Consequently, funding for the entire project was provided by John Sayles (an independent film director, screenwriter, editor, actor, and writer), for whom Karin Kusama, the director and screenwriter of 'Girlfight', had once worked as an assistant director.
