The Custodian

The Custodian is an Australian crime drama centered on Detective James Quinlan. After separating from his wife, who struggles with alcoholism, Quinlan is driven by anger and insecurity to confront the corruption within his own police force. He leaves his former way of life behind to work with his partner, Detective Church, aiming to infiltrate a network of double agents. While operating from the inside, Quinlan secretly collaborates with a lawyer from Internal Affairs and a reporter to bring the misconduct to light through the press.

The film was directed and written by John Dingwall. The main cast features Anthony LaPaglia in the lead role as Quinlan, alongside Hugo Weaving as Church.
