Secret Service agent Nick Sager once assisted the President of the United States in hiding the body of a young woman who died during an illicit encounter. Years later, shortly before a new election, Sager is a disillusioned former agent. He becomes involved in a new investigation after a former aide to the President, who was aware of the original cover-up, is found dead under mysterious circumstances. Sager seeks to uncover the truth while dealing with a wider conspiracy that involves further violence and kidnappings.
