What's left behind the scenes

  • Throughout the film, the viewer hears the howling of the wind, although there are no visual signs of wind in the frame.
  • Shannon Elizabeth's debut role.
  • The film was shot during a drought year with a snowless winter, so foam and cotton wool were used instead of snow. According to actor Scott McDonald, the temperature during filming sometimes reached 21 degrees Celsius, so director Michael Kunze and producer Jeremy Page had to rack their brains to find a substitute for snow.
  • The film was shot in January 1996.
  • Initially, it was planned to make several rubber snowmen for filming in the movie.
  • In many instances throughout the film, snow is shown close-up on screen, although in the distance you can also see green grass and trees with green leaves.
  • At the end of the film, when Jack is hit by a car, cables can be seen on the screen, using which the actor is "pulled" out of the dangerous situation.
  • At the end of the film, when Jack is hit by a car, cables are visible on the screen, used to 'yank' the actor out of the dangerous situation.
