Sanctimony

A bored and successful stock trader turns into a serial killer, leaving a trail of mutilated bodies across the city. As fear grows among the public, detectives Jim Renart and Dorothy Smith struggle to find a lead in the investigation. Their search leads them to a wealthy and eccentric man who discovers a victim, though the officers soon realize they may have been lured into a dangerous trap by the murderer.

Directed and written by Uwe Boll, this crime thriller was the first of 20 films in his directorial career, followed by House of the Dead in 2003. The movie features a cast including Casper Van Dien, Eric Roberts, Catherine Oxenberg, Michael Pare, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Jennifer Rubin. Produced by Regent Entertainment, 1st Boll Kino Beteiligungs GmbH and Co. KG, and others, the film was made with a budget of 3 million USD.
