What's left behind the scenes

  • At the very beginning of the song "Making Today a Perfect Day", one can catch a snippet from "Life's Too Short", a song that was not included in the computer-animated film "Frozen" (2013) during final editing.
  • "Frozen Fever" (2015) became the second short film from "Walt Disney Animation Studios" to be a sequel to a feature film. The first was "Tangled Ever After" (2012), a short film released on the wave of success of the feature-length animated film "Tangled" (2010).
  • The short film "Frozen Fever" debuted in theaters before the screening of Kenneth Branagh's "Cinderella" (2015).
  • With the exception of Marshmallow, voiced by Fred Tatasciore in "Frozen" (2013), all other characters in the short film were voiced by the same actors who voiced the characters in the feature-length prequel.
  • Oken will sing on screen for the first time. He did not sing in "Frozen" (2013).
  • To celebrate the release of the short film, the MMORPG game "Club Penguin" hosted a "Frozen Fest," which ran online from April 23 to May 6 and in the "Club Penguin" app until May 20.
  • Anna is celebrating her 19th birthday.
  • The song "Making Today a Perfect Day" contains references to songs from the prequel "Frozen" (2013). Elsa’s line, "I don’t mind the cold," echoes the song "Let It Go." Anna takes a sandwich, reminding the audience of the song "Love Is an Open Door." The episode where Elsa and Anna ride bikes around the castle is a reference to the song "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
  • At the beginning of the film, Elsa creates an ice sculpture depicting her embracing a frozen Anna. This happened at the end of the film "Frozen" (2013).
  • The full-length film "Frozen" (2013) shows Anna waking Elsa. In the 2015 sequel, Elsa wakes Anna instead.
  • The short sequel in the «Frozen» universe introduces new characters – small snowmen that appear when Elsa sneezes.
  • During a playful cake fight in the castle courtyard, greeting cards can be noticed in the distance. If you pause the video at a certain moment, the letters on them arrange themselves into the words «hairy ant band».
