What's left behind the scenes
- After filming this movie, Hattie Jones auditioned for the role of Hermione in Chris Columbus' "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." In the end, only two candidates remained – her and Emma Watson, and the role went to Watson.
- The plot is based on four books about Madeleine.
- A stunt double performed the scene where the character Hattie Jones falls into the Seine. Close-ups of Jones in the river were filmed in a pool, the water of which was tinted with chocolate powder.
