Wedding Trough

A lonely man living on a farm spends his time caring for animals, developing a fixation on a sow. After the man and the pig mate, the sow gives birth to piglets. The man attempts to force the young animals to return his affection, leading to a series of violent events and the deaths of the animals. Following these tragedies, the man eventually commits suicide.

Released in 1975, this Belgian horror and romance film was produced by Zéno Films. It was directed by Thierry Zéno, who also served as the producer. This was the first of two films he directed, followed by Of the Dead in 1979. The screenplay was written by Zéno alongside John Kupferschmidt and Dominique Garny.
