The Three-Body Problem

Based on the novel by Cixin Liu, this upcoming science fiction mystery follows Wang Miao, a nanomaterials expert who experiences a strange countdown in his vision. As hundreds of physicists die under mysterious circumstances, it appears that an outside force is attempting to stall scientific progress on Earth. The plot reveals a connection to a civilization from a planet with three suns that is expected to arrive in 400 years, posing a future threat to humanity.

The film is directed by Fanfan Zhang and written by Chunyu Song. It features a cast including William Feng as Wang Miao, Zhang Jingchu as Ye Wenjie, and Tang Yan as Shen Yufei, alongside Hans Zhang, Du Chun, and David E. Woodley.
