What's left behind the scenes
- The oath of Humpty Dumpty and the Cat: “The first rule is you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule is you DO NOT talk about Fight Club” – is a direct reference to David Fincher’s film, Fight Club.
- In sketches of unfilmed scenes (released as bonus materials on the DVD), the golden goose is named Sylvia.
- In the original version of the cartoon, a real giant with an eye patch appeared instead of Mother Goose, and Puss in Boots fought him.
- The scene inside the carriage, where Jack and Jill first lower themselves into the chairs with their backs to the viewer, and then abruptly turn to face them, is a reference to the scene of earthlings infiltrating a UFO in the film "Hangar 18" (1980).
- The final scene, where the Cat holds the rope with Pinocchio, is a direct reference to the film "The Guardian" (2006) – with the same lines and outcome.
- Jack of the Beanstalk is the former owner of the Donkey. This conclusion is drawn from the Donkey’s line in the film "Shrek 2" (2004): "Some crazy farmer was going to trade me for magic beans!".
