Alien Terror

Set in the late 19th century, the film follows Professor John Mayer and his assistant, Dr. Isabel Reed, who develop a powerful ray machine. This invention attracts extraterrestrials who view the device as a threat to the universe. To destroy the technology and its creator, an alien possesses the mind of a serial killer named Thomas to infiltrate the laboratory. As the extraterrestrial force attempts to seize control of the professor, the city is plagued by Thomas's murderous impulses. The conflict culminates in a struggle for mental dominance and the eventual fate of the dangerous invention.

Directed by José Luis González de León, Jack Hill, and Juan Ibáñez, the film is a joint production between Mexico and the United States. For Jack Hill, it follows Pit Stop (1969) and precedes The Big Doll House (1971). For Juan Ibáñez, it comes after The Outsiders (1967) and Macabre Serenade (1968). The cast features Boris Karloff as the professor, alongside Enrique Guzmán, Christa Linder, Maura Monti, Yerye Beirute, and Tere Valez.
