What's left behind the scenes
- The final fight scene was filmed in one long take lasting over 7 minutes.
- Some of the filming took place at the legendary Zur Ritze nightclub in Hamburg's red-light district. A gym is located in the club's basement, hosting training sessions and local sporting events.
- Jürgen Blin, a former professional boxer, plays one of the trainers. He is known for having entered the ring against Muhammad Ali (1942-2016) on December 26, 1971, and being knocked out only in the 7th round.
- The final fight was filmed at a venue called Groe Freiheit 36. The Beatles performed there in the 1960s.
