Short description

The First Gokturk is an upcoming historical war drama that serves as the first entry in the Gokturk Trilogy. The story focuses on the early development and modest origins of a vast empire in Asia.

The film is directed and written by Alper Çağlar, who also produced the project. Following his previous works Busra, The Mountain II, and The First Gokturk: Prologue, this production is a Turkish venture from Nulook Production and CaglarArts Entertainment. The cast features Volkan Keskin as Bumin Kagan, Arif Diren as İstemi Yabgu, Murat Serezli as Aşide Alagar, and Esra Kılıç as Aybala. With a runtime of 240 minutes, the movie blends elements of action, adventure, and history to depict the rise of this early civilization.
