What's left behind the scenes

  • When Krypto prevents a bank robbery at the beginning of the film, he lifts the robbers’ green car over his head. In the lower left corner, a person clutches their head at the sight of this. The resulting image evokes the cover of the “Action Comics #1” (1938) issue, which featured the first appearance of Superman.
  • Upon close inspection, Krypto’s nose resembles Superman’s shield, while Ace’s nose is similar to the Batman symbol.
