Doraemon: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration

Nobita believes that rabbits live on the Moon, but his classmates mock him for the idea. To prove his point, he and Doraemon use a special gadget to establish a rabbit kingdom on the lunar surface. Their journey to the far side of the Moon leads them to encounter a mysterious new student named Luca and other children possessing special abilities. These encounters pull Nobita and his friends into a perilous conflict that extends beyond their own planet.

Directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa, this 2019 Japanese animated adventure is the third of four films listed for the director, following two previous Doraemon titles and preceding Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window. The voice cast features Wasabi Mizuta as Doraemon, Megumi Oohara as Nobita, and Junko Minagawa as Luka, with a total credited cast of 28 people and a crew of 101. Produced by companies including Shin-Ei Animation and Fujiko Productions, the film earned 65 million USD at the worldwide box office.
