- Since filming coincided with the height of the coronavirus pandemic, the script and actors' lines were constantly being rewritten.
- The director of the first installment, Kang Yoon-sung, was initially offered to direct the film, but declined due to being busy with another project.
- At the 91st minute, Jang Yi-soo (Park Ji-hwan) tries to scare Kang Hae-san (Song Seok-ku) by mentioning Jiang Chen – the antagonist from the first film, played by Yoon Ge-san.
