The Marksman

An American special operations agent codenamed Painter is sent to a Russian nuclear plant seized by Chechen rebels. His primary mission is to infiltrate the facility and plant a targeting device to guide a missile strike, aiming to destroy the station before the militants can activate it. However, during the operation, he discovers that the mission is part of a larger conspiracy and that the planned strike may actually trigger the nuclear catastrophe he was sent to prevent. He must then fight to stop the detonation and survive against opposing forces.

This action thriller was directed by Marcus Adams, marking his second feature film following Octane. The movie stars Wesley Snipes in the lead role, with a supporting cast that includes Emma Samms, William Hope, Gelu Nitu, Serge Soric, and Dan Badarau. It was a joint production between the United States and Romania, created by Castel Film and Andrew Stevens Entertainment.
