What's left behind the scenes

  • Wayne Kramer was originally slated to direct the film and begin shooting in February 2011. However, due to Sylvester Stallone's commitments to other projects, filming had to be postponed, after which Kramer left the project. On April 11, 2011, Walter Hill took over as director.
  • Initially, Wayne Kramer invited Thomas Jane for one of the leading roles. When Kramer left the project, Jane personally suggested Stallone hire Walter Hill. After Hill agreed, the film's producer, Joel Silver, "kicked out" Thomas Jane, believing that Sylvester Stallone's partner should be an "ethnic guy."
  • Walter Hill's first film in 10 years, following "Undisputed" (2002).
  • The whiskey James Bonamo drinks is Bulleit, a straight bourbon whiskey from Kentucky with an unprecedented character, distinguished by a special combination of spices and complexity. Small batches of Bulleit bourbon are stored in single-story warehouses, in conditions suitable for aging spirits. Bulleit bourbon was awarded a gold medal at the "San Francisco World Spirits Competition" in 2004.
  • Towards the end of the film, Bonamo meets Kwon in a bar, and he is again drinking his bourbon. When they finish talking, he completely finishes the contents of his glass. But when he puts it down on the bar, it is clearly visible that some of the drink still remains at the bottom.
  • At the 29th minute of the film, when Keegan kills the bar patrons, he shoots the last one – a guy with a hat. First, he shoots him once, then reloads the gun and shoots six more times. When the guy is shown from the back, there are eight bullet holes exiting his body.

  • Towards the end of the film, Bonomo meets Kwon in a bar and starts drinking bourbon again. When they finish talking, he empties his glass. But when he puts it down on the bar, it's clearly visible that a little drink remains at the bottom.
  • At the 29th minute, when Keegan kills the bar patrons, he shoots the man in the hat last. He shoots him once, then reloads the gun and shoots six more times. When the man is shown from behind, eight bullet holes are exiting his body.
