South Park: Post COVID

South Park: Post COVID is an animated comedy set decades after the coronavirus pandemic. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny have all survived, but the experience has left them changed, and the adult lives they lead are not the ones they once imagined. When a death among the group brings the friends back together, they reunite in a town reshaped by the pandemic and by the values of a more polite, socially conscious future.

Trey Parker directed and wrote the film, which arrived in 2021, well into a run of South Park television specials he made during this period and shortly before the related special The Return of COVID. Parker and Matt Stone voice the main characters, with April Stewart, Mona Marshall, Kimberly Brooks and Adrien Beard rounding out the cast. Running just under an hour, the film was produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and released as a TV movie.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.5 from roughly 14,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7.2 from about 414 votes, suggesting a generally positive response from viewers, with the larger IMDb sample giving the more settled picture.
