Wyrmwood: Apocalypse

In a zombie-infested Australian wasteland, a soldier named Rhys captures survivors and delivers them to the Surgeon General, believing these experiments will lead to a cure. His routine changes when he captures Grace, a hybrid between a human and a zombie. After being confronted by Grace's sister, Maxi, Rhys discovers the truth about his employers. He eventually joins Maxi and a group of rebels to save Grace and destroy the bunker.

This action-horror film was directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tristan Roache-Turner. It is the third film in the director's career, following Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead and Nekrotronic. The cast features Luke McKenzie as Rhys, Shantae Barnes-Cowan as Maxi, Bianca Bradey as Brooke, Tasia Zalar as Grace, Jay Gallagher as Barry, and Nicholas Boshier as The Surgeon.

The movie received a more positive reception from critics, who gave it a 7.2/10 rating based on 20 reviews, compared to the audience scores. On IMDb, the film holds a 5.5/10 rating from 3,900 votes, while on TMDB, it has a 5.8/10 rating from 149 votes.
