Offerings

A woman becomes obsessed with why her neighbors receive numerous stone blessings from the gods while she receives almost nothing. Despite dedicating her love, time, and food to the same deities, she finds herself without their favor. This leads her to question what else the gods might demand in exchange for their gifts, wondering if they require sexual acts or physical sacrifices of flesh.

This 2022 American horror short runs for 11 minutes and was directed by Shane Bannon. It is the first of two films listed in Bannon's directing history, followed by Oma in 2026.
