DOA: Dead or Alive

DOA: Dead or Alive follows four women who enter an invitation-only martial arts contest held on a remote island. Kasumi is an aristocratic fighter raised among martial arts masters, Tina Armstrong is a professional wrestling star, Christie Allen works as a thief and hired killer, and Helena Douglas is an athlete whose past is tied to the tournament's setting. The prize is ten million dollars, but the organizer, Donovan, has a different purpose in mind for the strongest competitors, and the four rivals eventually join forces against the real threat behind the event. The film is based on the Dead or Alive fighting game series.

Corey Yuen directed, working from a screenplay by J.F. Lawton and Adam and Seth Gross, with Paul W. S. Anderson, Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer producing.
