What's left behind the scenes
- According to Gerard Butler (who played Will Spann), he improvised constantly during filming. He was only given the first ten pages of the script to read, and even those were largely ignored soon after filming began. The entire film took 8 days to shoot. Butler really enjoyed starting to film a scene with no idea how it would end. The actor could only rely on the other cast members and director Brian Goodman.
