Kina & Yuk

Kina and Yuk are two Arctic foxes preparing to become parents for the first time. Their lives are disrupted by rising temperatures and a shortage of food, which forces them to travel further to survive. During a hunt, the melting ice separates the pair, leaving them isolated on different ice floes. As Kina nears the time to give birth, the two must navigate dangerous and unfamiliar territories in an effort to reunite before their offspring arrive.

Directed by Guillaume Maidatchevsky, this film was released in 2023 and is the first of two works listed for the director, followed by A Cat's Life. It is a co-production between France, Canada, and Italy, involving companies such as TF1 Studio and France 3 Cinéma. The cast includes Virginie Efira and Robert Naylor as narrators for the French and English versions, respectively, alongside Veronique Boileau, Trinity Vittrekwa, and Joe Bishop.
