Choked

Set in Seoul during an economic downturn, the story follows a young man working in a questionable relocation business. He finds himself pursued by loan sharks and various creditors who are seeking large sums of money owed to them by his mother, an entrepreneur who has disappeared.

The film marks the feature debut of director Kim Joong-hyun. It was produced by CJ Entertainment, CJ CGV, and the Korean Academy of Film Arts. The cast features Um Tae-goo in the role of Kwon Youn-ho, alongside Kil Hae-yeon as Park Hee-su and Yoon Chae-yeong as Hong Se-kyung. The movie was released in Korea on October 8, 2011, with a total runtime of 110 minutes.
