Asha Parekh (born October 2, 1942) is an Indian actress, film director, and producer who works in Hindi cinema. Regarded as one of Hindi cinema's finest actresses, she was highest paid actress of during her heydays and one of the most successful actresses of the 1960s and 1970s. In a career spanning over four decades, Parekh has received several accolades, including two Filmfare Awards.
