Maya Jama

Maya Jama is a British television presenter and radio DJ, born on 14 August 1994 in Bristol, England. She moved to London in 2012 to pursue a media career, first working as a presenter for JumpOff.TV and later for Sky UK's TRACE Sports. She joined MTV as a presenter in 2014 and went on to host programs including Cannonball, The Circle, and Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star. In radio, she hosted a drive-time show on Rinse FM from 2014 to 2017 and presented her own show on BBC Radio 1 from 2018 to 2020. Jama became the host of ITV2's Love Island from series 9 in 2023 and has since presented spin-offs including Love Island Games and Love Island: All Stars. She has also been a panel judge on ITV's The Masked Singer since 2025.
