Surrounded by music, art, film, and literature, John Francis was inspired to pursue filmmaking at the early age of four. His passion lies in martial arts film, focusing on intricate choreography backed by gripping storytelling. He is also passionate about incorporating his Irish heritage into his storytelling where possible. A jack-of-all-trades, John Francis writes and directs, and typically stars in his own projects where he performs his own fight scenes and stunts. A passionate animal lover, he went vegetarian at 8 years old, and vegan at 25. Proudly married to Courtney McCullagh.
