Mankyu (まんきゅう, Mankyū, May 27, 1980) is a Japanese filmmaker, anime director and screenwriter from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from university, he worked as a freelancer before joining the animation company DLE in 2009. He used the name Mick Box until April 2009, when he changed his alias to the current Mankyu. After leaving DLE, he took over as director of Gathering on October 1, 2009. He left Gathering on March 31, 2017 and has since worked as a freelancer.The most significant works of Mankyu
