Babushaan Mohanty (born Tanmay Mohanty) is a prominent Indian actor and playback singer known for his work in the Odia film industry. Born into a film family, his parents being veteran actors Uttam Mohanty and Aparajita Mohanty, he was exposed to cinema from an early age.

He made his acting debut in 2009 with Romeo: The Lover Boy, quickly gaining popularity for his screen presence and musical talent. Over the years, he became one of the leading stars of Odia cinema with successful films like Bou Buttu Bhuta, Pabar, and the critically acclaimed Daman, where his performance as a doctor was widely appreciated.

Apart from acting, Babushaan is also an accomplished playback singer, contributing songs to many of his films. In 2017, he expanded into filmmaking by launching his production house, Babushaan Films.
