Renan Franzen is a Brazilian composer. Throughout his career he has collaborated with notable filmmakers and artists such as Jorge Furtado and Ana Luiza Azevedo, creating music for the TV series Dr4g0n (Globoplay), Luísa Sonza (Sony Music) and Isabel Zuaa (O Complexo).

In 2021 he won the Golden Kikito at the Gramado Intl Film Festival for his score for the feature film Casa Vazia (Empty House), the previous year he had won, at the same festival best score for short film.

Also in 2021 he was the only brazilian composer selected for Spot the Composer, an event created by Cannes Film Festival to connect composers with directors and producers.

He was nominated for Best Original Music for a TV Series at the Jerry Goldsmith Awards (Spain), and for Best Theme Music at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, both for his work on the hit TV Series Necrópolis.
