An Egyptian director, He is the son of the director Mohamed Abou Seif and grandson of the late artist Salah Abou Seif. He began his career as a clacket in the films Kimo and His Bestfriend and Free of Cholesterol. He then worked as a script director in 2005 in the movie Teach Me Love. Mustafa graduated from the Higher Cinema Institute, directing department in 2009.
