Jack Henry Calverley is an indpendent filmmaker and musician based out of Michigan. His films are notable for their lo-fi aesthetics and an avant-garde approach to thematic symbolism. His works include the short films "again & again & again" and "SUNGLASSES I & II". His debut feature film "MOUNT PLEASANT" was released in 2023.Calverley is also known for being the co-founder, bassist and lead vocalist of the noise rock band "bodygaurds." alongside fellow Michigan musician and filmmaker Brody Britton. Calverley is also the co-founder and one of the board members of the BEAM OF LIGHT STUDIO & FILM COLLECTIVE, which produces and distributes "true indie" films made with little-to-no budgets.
