Rupak Chatterjee began his professional journey with a strong foundation in engineering, graduating from Jadavpur University, one of India’s most prestigious institutions. In 2004, he relocated to Los Angeles, USA, where he entered the telecommunications and software industry. During this phase, he worked extensively in software design, automation, and code development, gaining deep technical expertise. His drive to understand enterprise-level business operations led him to specialize in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products), further strengthening his technical and managerial skill set.

Building on his experience in technology and business development, Rupak Chatterjee later transitioned into the media and entertainment industry, founding a production company with the vision of creating culturally resonant and globally relevant content. This initiative ultimately gave rise to Hippiix, a platform dedicated to original digital storytelling.

As a producer, he oversees a wide range of projects on the Hippiix platform, including short films, web series, and dramas, with a strong emphasis on regional Bengali content.
