Guilherme Afonso (1996) is a movie director and photographer from Portugal. He studied photography at Instituto Português de Fotografia (2018) and graduated with a scholarship in cinema (2022) at Escola das Artes da Universidade Católica do Porto. During his photography studies, he started a documental project ("de algo que poderia ter sido", 2018-) that is still under construction. In 2020 he won an open call to shoot a documentary feature film ("A Morte do Artista") about Imaginarius Festival that is currently in post-production.
