Seán Leahy is an award-nominated Irish director and screenwriter whose films have screened at festivals including Fastnet Film Festival and IndieCork.

A member of the Irish Film and Television Academy’s Directing Chapter, he also belongs to the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland and is an associate member of the Writers Guild of Ireland.

Currently serving as Events Manager for The People’s Picturehouse Cork, Seán is committed to championing grassroots cinema and fostering a vibrant local film culture. His work focuses on character-driven, emotionally resonant storytelling, with a strong visual sensibility and a deep connection to the human experience.
