Adam Mizner began his martial arts and spiritual journey in his teens, dedicating 10 years to deep practice in monasteries, caves, and forests. A 6th generation Yang style Tai Chi Chuan teacher, he has studied under 8 primary teachers from the lineages of Huang Sheng Shyan, Yang Shaohou, and Yang Jianhou.

Spiritual & Healing Foundations

A senior lay disciple of Ajahn Jumnien in the Thai Forest Theravada tradition, Adam integrates Daoism, Western Hermetics, and Buddha Dhamma into his approach. His personal practice was severely tested by a severe neck injury in 2011 and a major motorcycle accident in 2015; through Qigong, Meditation, and state of Anatta ("Not Self"), he fully self-healed, further deepening his focus on the healing capacity of the internal arts.
