Kirklin Maclise is a retired Actress known for Silhouette (2011), Mixed Blessings (2007) and Fear Itself (2008). Kirklin was born & raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She attended Victoria School of the Arts in her teens, where she was involved in many theatre productions, dance troupes, and choirs; this quickly fostered grand aspirations of becoming a professional theatre performer. After enrolling in the University of Alberta with the intention of working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, she had what she fondly calls her “Quarter Life Crisis,” and realized she did not want to pursue the performing arts after all. It was her mother who put forth the idea of Veterinary Medicine, a career path that could combine Kirklin’s love of animals with her keen interest in the Biological Sciences. She switched into the Faculty of Science and enrolled in her first Animal Biology course, and the rest, as they say, is history.
