Andrew Gregory is a British journalist, writer, producer, director, and photographer, and an editor at The Guardian. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including a British Journalism Award, three British Press Awards, and the Royal Statistical Society prize for investigative journalism. In 2026, Gregory produced "Small Hours,” which won Best Animated Short Film at Chester Animation Festival, garnered a nomination for Best Animated Short Film at Raindance Film Festival, and screened at Oscar®, BAFTA, and BIFA-qualifying festivals in more than a dozen countries. Gregory began his career as an assistant to a photographer. He started out as a paperboy.
