Omar Sherien is a film and TV editor from Cairo, Egypt, and a graduate of the film editing department at the High Cinema Institute. Currently, he wields his razor at “The Barbershop Studios,” one of the leading post-production facilities in the Middle East. His edits sculpt stories that resonate globally, collaborating with directors from around the world.

Starting as a photographer, Omar developed a fascination with imagery and a strong sense of aesthetics and coherence in his work. He sees time as both a canvas and a constraint. And though he’s lost in his mid-twenties, you can almost always find him at the movie theater
