Namali Mallouk is an emerging film director with a strong interdisciplinary background in both the arts and media. She spent ten years in an intensive music program, where she trained as a violinist, developing a deep understanding of rhythm, emotion, and storytelling through sound, skills that continue to influence her cinematic style.

She later pursued her studies in communications and film at Cégep Lionel-Groulx, where she began refining her interest in visual storytelling and media production. Building on this foundation, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at Concordia University, further developing her analytical and creative approach to cinema.

Her work is shaped by a sensitivity to atmosphere, sound, and visual composition, often drawing on her musical background to create immersive and emotionally resonant films. With a passion for storytelling and a growing body of work, Namali continues to explore filmmaking as a space for both artistic expression and cultural dialogue.
