What's left behind the scenes
- James Gunn added a post-credits scene to every episode for the fans who watch the credits until the very end.
- Oggy Smith (Robert Patrick), Chris's father, is the White Dragon—the leader of the white supremacist group "Aryan Empire." He combines traits of two DC Comics characters: Wolfgang Schmidt (Peacemaker's father, a former Nazi) and William Heller (the White Dragon, leader of the "Aryan Empire" and enemy of the "Suicide Squad").
- James Gunn wrote the script for the first season out of boredom during eight weeks of quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic. He himself could not believe that the series would actually be put into production.
- John Cena was unable to rehearse the dance with the other actors due to commitments to other projects. Alan Tudyk stood in for him during rehearsals, and the dance was choreographed by Tudyk's wife, Charissa Barton.
