- According to the series creators, it can be watched in any order, as long as the episode "White," the season finale, is viewed last.
- A loose adaptation of the story regarding Hurricane Sandy in late 2012, when $70 million in bonds went missing in Manhattan.
- The series identifies the robbery location as 505 Wall Street, whereas in reality, the building filmed is located at 28 Liberty Street, two blocks away from Wall Street. Directly across the street is the Federal Reserve Bank (visible in the background of many scenes), which is the world's largest gold reserve, although it was not the target of this robbery.
