What's left behind the scenes
- Director, writer, and producer Greg Miller submitted a pilot episode to Cartoon Network in 2000, which aired as part of the Voice Your Choice Weekend marathon. Ultimately, the new project became the second most popular, surpassed only by the series 'The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy' (2003-2007).
- According to the animated series' director, writer, and producer Greg Miller, Microsoft Word 98's text-to-speech function was used to create Robot Jones's voice. In the second season, he was voiced by Bobby Bloch.
- The last major US-produced animation project to utilize the classical animation technique (characters and objects are hand-drawn on transparent plastic sheets, which are then layered over a static background and photographed).
